Roger D and Bergy have inspired me to post some new stuff, although on a much smaller scale...

Making good headway on the restoration of my Mallory ignition system. Figured out how to do my own plating. Found the chemicals locally and mixed the solutions for the process. Felt like I am back in 8th grade science class [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/scholar.gif[/img]. I am still working out the kinks in the plating process, but the results have been pretty good so far. STill have to assemble the ignition system and throw it on the a distributor machine, so I will update as it goes back together.

Most of the distributor piece parts are plated except for some internal parts. Those and the Mallory coil I'll get to this weekend....





Here is the condenser that checked good last week. It cleaned up well with some vinegar and quad ought...
