Why is the bidding so low for a documented Phase III Chevelle? Is it because it is a 1971?

This is Not a Baldwin Motion invoiced car. This a "shop car", brought to Motion as a used car by the owner to have it modified. Though just as mean in a street race, oddly the perceived value is less.

It was converted in the late 1970s. It is a cool car that has had some apparent detailing since last surfaced. It ran really strong and the documents were second to none.

Isn’t this the car that sold in Atlantic City about 5 years ago for about 40/50k and no one could believe anyone would spend that much for it? If so it certainly has been cleaned up!

Didn't the story include something along the lines of the owner at the time flying somewhere and meeting up w/ Joel at a coffee shop so Joel could lay his blessings on the documents?.
