Pretty warm in Georgia in July...you should think about a lake house up north..Adirondacks, New England, Wisconsin..etc.

We always get a beach house on Monterey Bay in a town south of Santa Cruz called Aptos. It's just beautiful and cool there and by August in Texas, I'm ready for some cool.
Time it right and you can go to the Historic Races at Laguna Seca.

Lake George, NY.
Lake Cumberland, KY Lake of the Ozarks, MO Lake Havasu, AZ without a boat it isn't worth being lakeside though..

I've been thinking about the temprature in GA at that time too..

The Chain O'Lakes area in Northern Illinois is nice that time of year,as well as anything around Lake Michigan. 4th of July Fireworks on Lake M. too..
