[ QUOTE ] It was Red with Bisquick in gold down the side. [/ QUOTE ] There are some pretty well known shots of a Biscayne with Bisquick on the side floating around on the net or am I thinking of another car? ![]() [/ QUOTE ] As we've discussed here in the past there was at least a half dozen or more cars running the Bisquick moniker back in the day.. ![]() ~ Pete

Yeah, woe be the man trying to find anecdotal evidence on cars named "BisQuick" or "NovaCaine", the veritable "John Smith"s of the Chevy drag car world......

I think mine used to be called Hurri-Cayne. It was originally owned by Dick Ross, a stock eliminator racer out of Michigan. Can anybody back this story up, maybe remembers the car?

Nope, I just seen them when I was at Jody Andersons house one night paging through all the old ones that Dennis wrote.

According to the wife of the original owner of Barry's L72 M22 Biscayne (one of the 6-10 M22 Biscaynes produced in 69) the car ran 11.70's . It was a Saturday night special that would gladly show you it's tailights if you had a minimum of $200. It saw track duty at places like Lapeer and across the border at St. Thomas. Someone must remember being suckered by a 4000 pound Burnished Brown two door Biscayne sedan with dog dish hubcaps?

There is, or was, a blue 69 L72/M22 Biscayne owned by a guy here in Kansas. Sold new from Van-T in Topeka.

The blue one was written up in a magazine too. I picked up a copy of the magazine off ebay a few years back. I'm trying to make mine a spitting image of that one. I love the way it looks.
