1972 Chevelle SS Conv Big Block
Hello to all,
My father and I are about to put up for sale one of our muscle cars. It is an orig 1972 SS Convertible big block car with TH400. The car is blue with a white top and white interior, along with cowl induction, air, tinted glass, dlx seat belts, gauges, body side molding, door gaurds, cust rv mirror, stripes, disc power brakes, power steer, radio/tape player, bumper guards. We were wondering if anyone has numbers on how many of this body style, engine and transmission were produced, and what the car might be worth? Thanks for any help that you can provide, Rick Berlage

What letter is in the vin..a W or a U??..that will tell us if its a 402 or a 454 car

The car has been full frame off orig restored. It did score a 987 at the chevelle nationals. The car has only been trailered. It has the correctly coded trans, and NOM that is also dated correctly to the car. The rear end is orig, and correctly dated to the car. Here are pictures of the car, as well as build sheet

Pretty sure he's referencing the old NCOA sponsored shows held during the 1980's-90's.
I saw this car at the NCOA/Shaumburg Il. 1997-98 show back then at it was top notch. Rick..are you Johns son?
