Is there anyone with info on the 6223 cranks being listed on E-bay #260513871903 by user clewwhoo40. Seems like a deal for a GM nitrided NOS crank.

This is the same seller who has been selling restamped distributors lately. I believe there was also a thread awhile back about blemmed 6223 cranks for school busses etc. being sold as NOS.

I am told he bought 1,200 from GM at an auction. I wonder if the auction was in Shanghai.

Here is a picture of the crank on the left. The hole drilled in the crank arm reminds me of a truck crank but I'm no expert.

I believe that hole was drilled to lighten the crankpin. Make the rotating assembly easier to balance. I have an original L78 crank, I will check it to see if it has the same hole.
