Think there was an old thread on here that was quite voluminus, what the heck let's get the party started again

1st car high school 73 Capri 1976

70RA III T/A black int 4spd 1978

73 RSZ28 1978

All three pursued unsuccessfully by LAPD on Mulholland drive.

My first was a 327, 300 horse 64 Impala SS hardtop. Goldwood yellow with factory black top...looked like convertible top material glued to the roof.

Mine was a 1960 Pontiac Parisienne four door hardtop with a big straight six and powerglide. Beautiful Copper/Bronze colour, but just a big boat to be honest.

1969 Z/28 when I was 16 (1975). Cortez silver. Used to drive around w/open headers a lot. Sold it in 1977 for $1600 to buy a '77 Kawasaki KZ1000. Sounds crazy but they were plentiful back then - just another used car.

NJSteve - ever cruise through Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk? Not to far from West Haven.

54 Chevy, 210, 2 door sedan. 235, 6 cyl, 3 on the tree. Found it on a car lot in 1962 for $475 negotiated the price all the way down to $450. Learned to power shift with the column shifter, shift lever eventually end up at the 12 noon position when in second. Dad asked me one day why shifter looked so strange, played dumb.
