Don't believe the 1970 Deuces would be competitive in NHRA. Way too much horsepoer from the factory. There is only one 1970 Z/28 that I ever see in DIV-1. He runs C/SA. Even with the NHRA factor in their favor he has to run in the 10.50's and really can't. The index is 11.70. Except for one 1962 corvette 327/340, 4 speed that flies in DIV-1 its hard for the solid lifter sb's to be competitive in Stock/SuperStock. Ask the 302 guys.
