As promised, I spoke with a friend who was very into the muscle car scene around the time the DR had the Corvette and he remembered the car. Story goes that the DR wrecked the Corvette raacing it Roebling Road Raceway in Savannah and tore up one whole side. My friend and another guy repaired the car for DR. and at that time he decided to change original Motion color of white and black stripes to hugger orange. According to friend he also installed the hono-drive on car to make more drivable with 4:88 rear gears. I have invited friend to comment on car. He has intimate knowledge of it and always wondered what came of it after DR. died.
