Default 1953 Allard trim tag, registration and plate

[b]About a year ago I had posted shots in the Rotting Musclecar thread,of a friends '53 Allard Palm Beach that was destroyed in a fire. The uninsured car was a total loss.

He came across the items below - A cheap frame with the cover of a December 1952 Road & Track, with a similar Allard on it, the Delaware registration and corresponding plate and the original serial tag. He would like to get $250 for all.

I don't know if this is a deal, or not worth anything - I know that the old Delaware plates go for more then $100. I don't think the Allard recreation market is very strong - so I think the clone factor won't really effect the price!
If no one is interested it will go on E-Bay.

The car was in a barn that burned to the ground. Part of the structure fell on the remains of the car, and for some reason they cut the chassis into pieces with a sawzall to get it out.

Hi there - Incredible chassis pics ! I would be very interested in the memorabilia - I am currently working on the idea of an Allard book, this would be a fantastic feature !

Do you accept paypal?

Thanks
Scott

By the way, great retro photos on your flickr site - by chance, would you have any vintage Allard photos ??!

Hey Scott. Welcome aboard! I have a friend headed to a conference in Brussels next week ( ITEC is the conference name) and then on to Bruges for a couple days. We both have seen the movie "In Bruges" and loved it and the city it portrayed. Do you have some must-see sights in Bruges and any interesting/unique restaurants that you could suggest.

Thanks!
