1968 model year and older Muncie's will almost always have the tag on the lower forward most bolt, so it doesn't interfere the back-up light switch...
1969 model year and later Muncie's could be either of the lower bolts on the side cover... If a customer doesn't say where they want the tag, I usually use the forward bolt, as I've seen more virgin Muncie's with the tag there, but either is correct... Hope this helps... Crash
