1971? Round top seats (1971+) but a 1970-1971 grill. Add in a tall spoiler... I'd say its a '71.

I thought he had a 70 but as soon as he gets back from vacation I ask him what year it was he will be surpised that I found a picture of his car. I have movies on old 8m of olot of the cars and of alot of old drag racing from 66-70 I need to get on disk especially USA Chevelle from back then also in the pits tuning that car.

Talked to my brother yesterday he said it was a 1971 for sure and if you look at the from of the car there is no spoiler down below he said that week he drove it to work and was going around 90 coming home hit a real small deer tore it off never damaged anything else to the car and all four wheels were off the ground lucky he said it did not flip or do any damage just hade to take the screws out of it.

Arrrgh! Those damn spoilers are magnets for small animals, aren't they? I did nearly the same thing. I had just put a perfect NOS front spoiler on my 70 and that week I went to a cruise night. Some smart aleck rabbit jumps out in front of me and I scoop him up and toss him. In the process cracking the spoiler at 3 mounting holes.

I hit a racoon in my '68 Corvette one night. Felt like I ran over a Razorback Hog! I felt bad for the little guy, .................... 'til I saw what it did to the front spoiler and the passenger side floorpan!
