[ QUOTE ] Here was my 69 nova, only a 307 car but was a 53-50 paint code- Glacier Blue with a Dover white painted top. Was a california car it whole life. I thought it was a cool paint combo. A guy by the name Don Werner owns it, anyone know him? Yes, that is a cool combo! I own one! LOL

Wonder if most of these unusual color combo cars were built at the end of the production run where they had an inventory of parts they had to use up for the end of the model run?

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Triple Black. Always a cool and rare color combo. [/ QUOTE ] Could be cool, but there's nothing unusual about it. [/ QUOTE ] With only 292 71 Cuda verts built, triple black is a rare color combo.

[ QUOTE ] With only 292 71 Cuda verts built, triple black is a rare color combo. [/ QUOTE ] Actually, 374 'Cuda ragtops were built. 292 were built for US consumption. But there's nothing inherently unusual about triple black. But you want an unusual '71? How about this? Ram Air Dave, what does the tag say? |

I have what some may consider to be unique. My car was built in late September, 1969 and delivered just in time for Halloween. It is a strange combination of Tuxedo Black with White stripes and Orange Hounds Tooth interior. It is an original ZL2 ducted hood car with Canadian documentation. Some folks refer to the car as "The Great Pumpkin" I would be happy to share if anyone would like to see it. Richard. Oh and by the way I also have a glacier blue 69 coupe with a dover white painted roof and dark blue interior. The original owner did not care for the painted top and had a dark blue vinyl top installed. Thanks! |
