yes, a little bit of weight factor but the good stock/superstock motor builders feel that the L78 revs a little higher which seems to make that a factor also. seems like the A/SA camaro's are 427 motors. But the new DP Mopars and Mustangs are making them a non factor lately.

ummmm, I am not sure what the NHRA and indexes have to do with goofy day 2 stuff ... the original post was about a Camaro spoiler on a Chevelle ...

-----Just reread the Mecum description and saw the reference to "original paint". If true, (it almost looks too good) thats why the spoiler is still there. Nobody would repaint or restore this Yenko and leave that spoiler on the trunklid......Bill S
