yes totally agree with you chuck - fully understand how prices have gone crazy over the recent yrs.........

restorations are not affordable anymore unless you have 500K or more car!

I too agree. Not only are parts incredibly expensive, some are equally difficult to find - and that’s for common aftermarket parts. Outside labour is the same. I have a nice clean 1956 Mercury truck cab I’m working on. Quotes for bodywork and paint are in the $29,000 (CDN) range. I don’t think I’ll finish it.
