The car brings up more questions than answers. The motor was replaced and it's not a '61 409. And I can't read the other numbers on the deck. Wrong tach and wrong washer reservoir for a 1-spd wiper. A cowl tag photo would help a little. By the VIN I'd say it's a 6D or 7A car. It would need an eyes-on exam.
The trans would be unique if it was an original '61 409 car. That's all I can offer on it for now. Verne Never mind. I found the cowl tag in the full size photos. It was originally a small block car. Last edited by Verne_Frantz; 12-11-2020 at 02:56 AM.
