Checked out the racing junk ad - it was sold, but thanks for the responses and the pics. Now I know what to look for.

I'll take some pic's of the intake that is currently on the engine to see what vintage it is. I'm pretty sure it's an Edelbrock, but after reading up on the performance differences - I want to make sure I don't have the slow one on there! The previous owner of this engine had it in a Gibb/Harrell Nova and I think it was running low 13's - way to slow for this built engine, so I'm thinking the intake was the bottleneck.

well the tri-power would slow it up even more M. MANY reasons out there for the slow et and not just the intake. Cast iron intakes with Q-jets run in the 10's on sb's so I would look else where also. Have fun!
