Default 1967 Camaro engine pad

Hi all,

In 67 specially the small block application (non high performance small blocks), was the engine pad stamped with both a VIN and engine suffix/date?

I'm looking at a car for a friend and the seller is insistent that Chevy did not stamp the VIN on the block in 67 Camaros?

Any truth here?

Thanks,
Dan
