1967 Camaro engine pad
Hi all,
In 67 specially the small block application (non high performance small blocks), was the engine pad stamped with both a VIN and engine suffix/date? I'm looking at a car for a friend and the seller is insistent that Chevy did not stamp the VIN on the block in 67 Camaros? Any truth here? Thanks, Dan |

Yes. Mostly only hp engines got a VIN stamp in 67

In 1967, this code consists of the sixth through the thirteen characters of the full VIN, e.g. 7N123456.</span></span></span> http://www.camaros.org/drivetrain.shtml#partialVINs |
