This is a 1971 Raleigh Chopper by Sturmey-Archer in Nottingham England. I restored it several years ago as a sibling to my original owner 1970 Chopper. Over $500 alone, was spent on rechroming the major steel parts and sourcing NOS parts. It is a beautiful piece of 1970's childhood history.
The white seat is the original seat and is in extremely nice shape. The red line tires are NOS. The shifter is NOS from Sturmey-Archer. If you are an aficianado of these 1960s-70s muscle bikes, you know how hard it is to locate all the original pieces like the Raleigh acorn nuts, stamped bolts and all the other extraneous Sturmey-Acher items, like the logo'd sprocket, 1971 reflector pedals, and 1971 brake levers that separate an average restoration from a correct restoration. $650. I would prefer to have the buyer pick the bike up in person and have to risk shipping it. You could ride it home, too.
