Default Original Cross Ram Fiberglass Hood?

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if someone could verify the originality of this cross ram hood. It is on a good friends 69 Z28. We both believe it to be original but would like the input of "the experts".

All the best,
Dave

I thought the original factory fiberglass crossram hoods came drilled for hood pins from the factory?

Dave,

its bogus. I can point out 10-15 differences if need be but this is a repro for sure. Just think of looking at a 69 corvette hood and looking for press moulded parts as well as the fine raised hair texture you normaly look for on a real corvette hood. The repro hoods are hand laid and have lost many of the original detsil items that originals have. With time a repro hood could be maid to look very close to an original.

Hope this helps, Rich
