CA Black Plate Issue Info - YOM
As I am in the wait for the CA DMV to okay the use of black plates on my 11/68 built SS via the YOM program (for some reason it had yellow on blue they would not let me use, may have hung around a dealer until '70) I have been looking around at how others have been fairing. I stumbled on this from a plate restorer in TN:
This is the order of issuance of 1963 CA Plates for those looking to be letter correct: 63 - AAA-RDA 64 - RDB-SDP 65 - SDQ-TEC 66 - TED-UGD 67 - UGE-WEC 68 - WED-YCE 69 - YCF-ZZZ Looks to be correct to me.
