Yes, we're car guys. He always told everyone what he thought it was, with parts missing,no one really believed that it could be that rare. Town full of Car Guys, why I followed it quietly until VIN was actually on a list. Discussions then became more along the lines, of would it be available now for 4.5yrs.

Fun process to actually buy a COPO. My Father raced a 69 Camaro COPO body in 1975. No one knew what a COPO was, until it was sold years later when the new owner called back to tell us it was special. Car only had the BE rear in it. I have the Muncie from it Nov 69 Car. My brother had the carb from the 427, date code matched trans. Eng was long gone, raced with sbc.
