Not quite. About a week later, the damn balancer started wobbling. The Fluidampr got installed last night. Mercifully, no damage appears to have happened. Gonna take 'er out for a bit here today.

Second PerTronix did the exact same thing. Crap canned it and threw the HEI back in. Uglier? Sure but it actually works. That PerTronix never had less than 12 volts and still cut spark. I'll be...

I only just found out they had a Livonia location. Dad (who was born in '70- sorry to make y'all feel old) has never mentioned GAS. He was a Ramchargers guy when he had his Firebird. Was it not there...

Aaaaand the PerTronix module is now dead as a door nail. Won't even try to pop off. I'll be getting a warrantied one, and if that one goes bad too, I'm swapping distributors.

It's 100% something in the distributor. First, disabling the rev limiter helped a ton but it still cuts power here and there. I did get to drive it and, oh my GOD, it's gonna haul ass. The brakes are...

I managed to hit my deadline of starting it today. Four years since he passed. Unfortunately, it's not running good. At all. It's cutting out and acting like the rev limiter is set at like 2500rpm....

I'm gonna have to do the first run without a fan, since the fan is on backorder. No biggie- there's still too much salt for the car to leave the backyard anyway. Won't be run long. I still have to...
