Did the tach always “zero”
At 100-200 or was that after the adjustment. Moving the potentiometer shouldn’t affect the zero reading.

I love the chrome line lock button. Fancy!

I buy and sell a lot of parts and ship most all of them. Loss is very rare. Damage definitely happens but 99 percent of the time it is due to poor packing, not carrier negligence. I would ship it....
