1972 nova reverse lockout
 

Hopefully someone can help me. Have a 1972 Nova SS. Has a zz4 crate motor mated to a non original transmission. It is a 1964-1965 M20. I need the complete reverse lockout rod assembly, etc. Lights work, just nothing there to activate them. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Dave

OK. Appreciate the responses. So the placement of the rod assemblies would be the same on my 64-65 M20 as a 69-71M20? That is very helpful if so. Dave

is the reverse light switch mounted on the column like a 69 camaro??

Yes -- should be four terminals ... two for neutral safety sw and the other two for backup lites ... TAZ

You will need the reverse shift arm with the extra hole for the lockout setup...I believe the early Muncie shift arms attached differently than the later versions bolt vs washer/nut??]..so that may influence the parts selected.

Yes the switch is on the base of the interior side of the steering column. I only remember seeing one terminal with 2 leads. Wilma, you are correct on that little arm on the reverse lever. It is the only part of the lockout that is there. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img] I am thinking I just need the 2 rods and the link they both connect to now. Getting closer. Thanks again. Dave
