Hello memebers Iam at the point where i need to purchase a rime and tire combination for my 1979 Z28, I know what size front rim and tire I am going to run, However sine I am going for the day two look. I wanting to go with the largest size rear tire I fit with rubbing the fender. I have a stock rear end with Lakewood yello slapper bars I want put a set of cagar,s and B F Goodrich TA radial,s . Any info on what size rim I run would be most helpful.
Thanks

you can fit allot of tire under the back of them...I think...been awhile... a 265 60 15 fit nice and tight and didn't rub if you offset the rim about 5.5 to 6 inboard....here is that tire on a 15x8 5.5 backspace on the 79 TA I had
