Springtime garage cleaning parts find...

...netted a couple I need help with, if y'all would.

Found a Delco Remy voltage regulator. Number worn off the box, but on the bracket reads:

1119003E It is 12V, neg ground. Forget what I got it for, years ago...

Sure wish I could I.D. all the trim rings...

Hi
Many vehicles used the regulator originally.
To name a few:
1955-61 Corvette
1955-56-57 Chevrolet-Buick-Olds-Pontiac w/P/S
1958-62 Chevrolet-Buick-Olds-Pontiac w/o AC.
I think trucks from that era did too.
Check for a stamped date, right after the 12V.It will look like 7E for 1957,May.

Many thanks, for the quick de-coding. Looks like 6K. By your reckoning, would that be Nov, 56?

Sounds logical. Back in the day, I had a few of the vehicles you listed. Sadly, they are all gone now. Just the extras for them. Down to a Rambler and a Dodge.

Not to hijack too much but I also have a voltage regulator that needs decoding. The numbers are 12V N, 0M - 1119, 515. I used the commas to denote over/under.

That would probably be October,1956.See below.

Those 515's were used on many, many mid 60's to early 70's GM vehicles, including utility trucks.Just too many to list from 1967-72.
Your format is typical and is dated 1970,December.
Delco-Remy avoided using the letter I in their date coding format,as it resembled the number one too closely.
