Tilt column Identification

5 Attachment(s)
I know this is an A-body column, but was trying to figure out was it out of a Chevelle? It has tilt and cruise so that is why I would like to know exactly. It measures 34 inches shaft to shaft, it is an automatic floor shift. It has the numbers on the lower part that read B2659S. Is that 265th day of 69? TIA.

Where it says lock is it rectangular or oval, like a pill? Rectangular is 69 only. Looks like it has Chevrolet knobs...Joe

I believe it is “rectangular” but I will check when I get home.

The knobs on 70 and earlier tilt levers were smooth hard plastic. 71 and later were textured rubber. Same goes for column shift levers and non cruise signal lever knobs.

Rectangular. The tilt knob does not look original to me.

FWIW, 69 used an E coded key.
