1969 F70x14 Firestone version of Ralphs Vette tire.

Pics 1- 2 show tread on 1969 F70x14 Wide Ovals
Pics 3- 6 show sidewall details.
Note "DELUXE CHAMPION" on both.
Pic 7 shows 1968 version with same tread pattern. Sorry no pic of tread but same as 1969
Note "POLYESTER CORD" on both.
Pretty sure 1969 was the last of that?

As long as it is tire nutso time here is the 1969 Z28 Firestone variant. Not easy to find and no repops.
Pic 1 is the more common "WIDE TREAD GT" GoodYear
Pic 2 is the Firestone version "SPORT CAR 200"

Both were E70x15.


Firestone version has only been observed on 1969 models in my limited experience with these.

Boy do we wish "OLE BLUE' was a Goodyear car.
Just found a full [4] NOS set of the 69 type Goodyears.


Anywayz here are examples of 69 type F70x14 Goodyears.
Never been on wheels.

Last pic is "OLE BLUES" spare.
1969 type Firestone.
