I've seen the car make many runs at SCR. I also saw it break the rear end on the starting line. It's an amazing car and it gets used for what it was built for.

I remember that like yesterday. The SCW crew stepped in and got it rolling again. IIRC it was done racing after that failure. That was a fantastic SCR!!!

That must have been another break. The one that I saw was at Beech Bend and I think it was the gears inside the Eaton Posi that let go. Jason Ball also broke the rear end in his COPO Camaro that day.
