Re: Supercar Photographs
#129. This 69 Camaro SS is a Baldwin Motion car. It was built in late October of 1969 and converted at Motion in June of 1970 according to the invoice with it. It has an LS-7 with a 4 speed and 4.88 gears. It was restored by Legendary Motorcars and then purchased by Ron Pratt. It was bought back by Legendary at Barrett Jackson in 2015 and is now a part of their collection.

Re: Supercar Photographs
Why are guys so afraid to run the mags these cars originally came with? Everyone is so worried someone will critize them for running old school wheels or Gosh worse yet, make it look like a knuckle dragger street machine. Idiots!!!!!!!!!!

Charlie, if it's any consolation, the car did have the Rosen sign off. Dan

Re: Supercar Photographs
There are a ton of pictures of this car on Legendary's website. There is an invoice from Baldwin Auto Company on their website showing all the optional equipment on the car. It lists Rally wheels, 454 LS-7, 4.88 H.D. gears and traction bars among other things as optional equipment and accessories. If it was originally delivered with other wheels they would have been noted on the invoice. I don't normally list a car's VIN, but this car was sold at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale in 2015 so the VIN is public knowledge. It is 124379N709326. Since the invoice with the Motion upgrades is through Baldwin that would lead me to believe it was bought new off the Baldwin lot with the Motion upgrades and indeed a Baldwin Motion car as opposed to a car that was bought somewhere else and upgraded at Motion later.

Re: Supercar Photographs
Thanks Myron, certainly a late build car and probably a "10E" tag. Would look better with some "SS" mags, and surprised the owner did not go for that upgrade given all the other options on the car, but perhaps cheaper to put some on himself on Day 2. I seriously doubt the car rode around on rally wheels for very long back in the day. Love all the pictures you post. Some amazing cars.

#130. This 70 Yenko Deuce is YS #7 and was sold new at Dick Watson in Williamston MI. It appears to be an older restoration and was bid to $100K but didn't sell. I have in my notes that it does not have it's original engine. I'm not sure about the transmission and rearend.
