Chevrolet Gear and Axle division. Eaton was just the posi supplier.

Post 12 Bolt Axle...

The letter code will indicate assembly plant. Those with an 'G' code were Detroit Gear and Axle. E is an Eaton posi...

How can you tell if a BT 12 bolt is from a nova or camaro ?

My understanding as well, both 67-69 Camaro and 68-72 Nova are interchangeable measurement wise. I am not sure on the codes. Bill

If you look at Colvin's book, there were more choices with the Camaro. The BT rear was a common item for these cars....pretty much all the codes were the same.
