Interesting '72 GTX, 23k Miles, 1 of 219, #s 440/4-sp
If I understand correctly, the '72 GTX was a Road Runner optioned with the 440 mill. Can't say I have ever seen one before, and the color combo on this particular car is stunning.

My recollection is that, in 72, the GTX was an 'option package' on the Road Runner, which included the 440 engine and maybe a few other items
And I agree, gorgeous color combo. Not a fan of the rear wing though.

I’m a diehard GM guy but like all Mopars. This era Road Runners- GTX’s are growing on me . This is a really nice car and I’ll bet it handles good going down the road.
