Meet the Asian giant softshell turtle (Pelochelys cantorii). Unlike many of its turtle relatives—it has no exterior shell, just a layer of thick rubbery skin covering wide-spanning, fused ribs that protect its internal organs and can grow as much as 6 feet (2 meters) long.

Blue Spotted Stingray. It's not like it's cousins: doesn't hid in the sand - small - only 14" in length - Yep it's got two venomous tail spines. Unfortunately. due to their beauty and size, many wind up in private aquariums - they are not well suited for capitivity and die shorty after being placed there. Found in the warm costal waters of the West Pacific and Indian oceans.

Believe it or not - that's a pretty big Squat Lobster. The biggest are up to 4". The smallest - less than 1 cm. And they come in all shapes too:

Mandarinfish. Like most things in nature - if it's brightly colored - it's probably not good to either touch it or eat it. This one has toxins within it. Great aquarium fish though. CANNOT beat it's colorful display.

Beautiful isn't it. Too bad it has such a negative name: Sea Slug. Sea Snail isn't much better.

Just a fraction of the many varieties. Once again - colorful - DO NOT EAT!

The power of MARKETING!

Put on your menu: Monk Fish . . . "Poor Man's Lobster." Yes - it tastes very much like lobster. See the red line - that's what you save/cook. The rest goes where uneatible fish catches go - dog food, fertiziler, etc.

It's VERY tasty. If you have the chance to order it - do so - if you like Lobster that is.

Sounds like the title of a song by the B-52's.
