Sold FIRESTONE SPORTS 500 tires - used PAIR of 2 - F70-15

Hi Gang, another Day 2 tire treat here!

Here is a PAIR of two F70-15 Firestone Sports 500 bias ply tires.

They were recently removed from a nice pair of wheels that I was not able to acquire.

Anyway, that said, these two tires are used, but had been driven on sparingly, apparently, years ago. I have no other history, please review the photos; they held air but out of an abundance of caution, I would not drive on them; they should be considered suitable only for show purposes. I am unsure of their age, but they have DOT markings and what I believe are the date / plant codes, match each other as shown.

I prefer local pick up in SoCal of course, but will ship at actual cost for shipping via FedEx - be aware though, tires are not cheap to ship.

See the many photos below. These are perfect for a display pair on spare rims or a vintage Day Two street freak. Not an often seen tire, these.

These will top off that special car or for someone that just wants the look - it's the details, man. Also good to mount and do some burn outs for some cool action shots / photos!

Note that these have the correct tread pattern and are molded "Made in USA" - I know a tell tale sign of Polyglas repops is made in "somewhere else" like Argentina or wherever. I also understand that current reproductions are still on a crazy long backorder and no ship dates are expected soon. Used seems to be the only way in at this time.

Local pick up only now, as shipping on these is prohibitive:

FedEx wanted $162 to ship these tires GROUND to IL today...

If you're in SoCal, we can negotiate a meet up if you're interested.

I think this puts the end to me picking up large items anymore, unfortunately...
