They are not visible once panels are installed.

Any body shop supply house will have a roll of plastic water shield which is superior to the ones GM used. They have adhesive on one side, just like a roll of tape. Cut to fit. They work great.

If you don't want to buy a whole roll, maybe you know someone in the business that can help you out with a couple of short pieces.

You could buy some kraft paper and make the cups out of plastic how the originals were made.
The water resistant back was black latex - Latex in liquid form is available, ADD CARBON BLACK and apply using a paint roller.

Thanks for it information. I really didn't think I was going to have this problem. I found the rears from both my Camaros but the fronts got ate up by something where I stored them 40 years back. UGH! Thank you, Joe

Are the water shields different between the deluxe and standard interiors?

I would think they may be the same??

They are different! The deluxe water shield have a flexible plastic section that goes around door pull mech. The chrome door pull is then bolted on top, creating holes through the bag

Standard just has a hole for the door pull shaft.

The deluxe water shields have a plastic pocket where the interior door pull is located, the std interior shields do not.
