Default '68 #s L-79 Corvette Convertible, One Owner, Docs, Nice

Clean looking car in one of my favorite C3 color combos. Nothing like that bright blue interior. Sure looks tough with the (added) side exhaust.

Default 68 L79 Corvette...

Seems like a nice car for the money...

Not being a 'Vette Guy'...I have a few questions;

-what is the gizmo on the passenger side under the hood...some kind of vacuum can??

-I notice an extra spot on the fan pulley for another belt...smog or...???

I like the way they list the L79 option as a Corvette V8...the other Chevy models with the L79 were rated at 325hp.

With the M20 and the 3.55 gear it must move right along down the road.

The gizmo is a vacuum canister to operate the wiper door for the hidden wiper assembly

Too bad they put black interior in during the "restoration. The bright blue is so nice with the blue exterior.

How does a "refurbished" engine retain the original rings ??? Looks like the refurbishment was a paint job in the chassis.
