Smile Transport from Canada

Tom I used Thorsons they are based in Onterio I bought my LS6 back from the gentleman i sold it to after 18 years I'm om Long Island they would not come to NY but picked up the car in Thunder Bay north of Minnasota and transported it to Onterio and a private hauler with a 1 car trailer brought it to me.They hooked me up with him but I do believe they run most of the 48 states just not NY (I don't blame them) It cost me $2400 in September of 2020 their # is 416-742-0854 They are a very proffesional company Don't forget you will have to pay a duty tax on anything coming into the US Good Luck

Hello Tom......I just shipped a car from Canada to the U.S. with a high profile carrier and it was VERY painful (not because it is difficult to ship a vehicle) but because of the carrier.

I would contact Thornsons or Mackie Transport. I think Legendary Motor Car offers shipping services as well.

Send me a PM and I will gladly tell who not to use.

Paul

Try TFX in Etobicoke ON which is in the Toronto area. They have shipped 3 cars for me...2 from the US to Canada and 1 from Canada to the US.

Not if it was built in the US.

Tom, Ontario is OPEN for you to come with your own trailer and pick the car up! As long as you have both vaccine shots, you can get into Ontario.

I'm looking at buying my first car I had back. It's in Maine, and the USA will not let us in for non essential stuff like this. Or get parts at our US brokers.

FYI

Pandemic was making things very difficult for getting a car from Canada to US…. Especially NY as they have very different rules and are backed up months from when borders were closed. I think it’s getting better now but do your homework with your own individual state and the Transport Carrier. I recently used TFX and they were great, the hold up was NY State.

Thanks for all of the comments. I am working with TFX, who have been very helpful. Cool car, but I don't know if it is worth the time and $ to get it out of Canada.
