Beautiful car...I really love white on the 64-65 Chevelles.

The L79 swap sounds cool...but that motor won't work with a 'glide'...I tried it once

I'm going to blame it on delayed COVID fog....I read Bill's suggestion as 327/300, and you are absolutely correct.

Actually, L79 clones are pretty common, 300 horse with a Glide would be a sweet driver without disturbing the interior with a 4 speed conversion, plus done right would stand out.

It is a sweet car but I choked on the price...
As far as a glide behind 350 hp... drag racers have been using them behind 800 hp for years. They can be built to handle 350 hp easily. But why limit yourself to 2 gears when a TH350 is a direct, bolt in swap and even more fun ???
