1935 Auburn 851 SC Boat Tail Speedster with a 280ci 8 cylinder producing 150 horsepower.



1930 Cadillac Convertible Coupe with a 353ci V8 producing 96 horsepower.



These three 1934 Auburns all have V12's producing 160 horsepower. The first one is a Salon Speedster, the second is a Cabriolet with a rumble seat and the third is a Salon Brougham.





1948 Jaguar Mark IV Drophead Coupe with a 3.5L engine producing 125 horsepower.



1930 Packard 734 Speedster Sedan with a 145 horse 8 cylinder.



1937 Cord 812 Beverly Sedan with a supercharged V8 producing 170 horsepower.



1939 Delahaye 135M Convertible Coupe with a 6 cylinder.

OK, back to Muscle Cars. These photos are from Mecum in Indy in 2010.

This 58 Corvette convertible was advertised as a mostly unrestored car with 90% of it's original paint along with it's numbers matching drivetrain. It sold for $90K.



This 63 Corvette coupe was a late production car and was advertised as being numbers matching. It sold for $106K.




This 66 Corvette convertible was advertised as a numbers matching 390 horse car with a 4 speed. It sold for $88K.



This 67 Corvette convertible was a 400 horse car with a Powerglide and was documented with it's tank sticker as being a special order Saddle interior car. It sold for $130K.



This 67 Corvette convertible was a 435 horse car, but I don't have any information on it.



This 68 L88 Corvette was documented with a tank sticker and sold be $150K. If I remember correctly it was an older restoration that needed some attention.



This 69 Caprice was advertised as a numbers matching car that was documented with a build sheet and POP. It was bid to $62.5K. Assuming it's real, this is the only L72 69 Caprice that I have ever seen.




This 66 Chevy II SS was advertised as a numbers matching L79 car that was purchased new at Devoe Chevrolet in Marion IN. It sold for $54K.




This 65 Z16 Malibu SS is #3 of 201 built. It was documented with a build sheet and POP and was sold new at Rydell Chevrolet in Grand Forks ND. It was bid to $110K. It later sold at BJ for $154K.




This 69 Chevelle SS convertible was advertised as a numbers matching car that was documented with it's original window sticker and POP. It sold for $140K even with all the happy marks and poorly applied stripes.




This 69 Chevelle SS was advertised as a numbers matching L78 car. I don't have any sales information on this one.



This 70 LS6 Chevelle SS was advertised as a numbers matching 4 speed car that was documented with a POP. I believe this car was brought to the auction by Nickey Chicago. It was bid to $70K.



This 70 Chevelle SS had a ZL-1 with Ram Jet fuel injection and was backed by a 5 speed. It sold for $58K.

This 68 Camaro SS convertible with an L78 was advertised as a numbers matching car that was documented with a POP. It was bid to $110K.



This 69 Z/28 was an X77 car with a 720 orange hounds tooth interior. It was advertised as having a correct DZ block and the original M20 transmission. The original block also came with the car. It sold for $72K.



This 69 Z/28 RS was an X33 car and was advertised as being a numbers matching car. It sold for $66K.



This 69 Z/28 RS was an X33 car and was advertised as a numbers matching car that was sold new at Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago. I believe the grill should be silver instead of black, but other than that it was a great looking car. It sold for $125K.




This 69 Camaro SS was an X22 car with an L78 and a 4 speed. I don't know if it was an original L78 car or not. It was bid to $82.5K.



This 69 Camaro RS/SS was an X22 car and was advertised as a numbers matching L78 car with an M22. It sold for $72.5K.



This 69 Camaro RS was built by Rad Rides by Troy and had a 710 ci engine producing 1,350 horse power that was backed by a Lenco. It was bid to $240K.



This 70 Buick GS Stage 1 was advertised as a numbers matching car that was backed by a M21 and was documented with a build sheet and POP. I don't know where the bidding ended up in '10, but the next year it was bid to $135K.



This 70 Buick GSX Stage 1 was advertised as a numbers matching car with a 4 speed that was documented with 2 build sheets. It is #39 of 678 and was sold new at Del-Ton in Tonawanda NY. It was featured in the February 2010 issue of Muscle Car Review. It sold for $130K.



This 66 442 F85 Club Coupe was advertised as a Track Pack car with the dealer installed W-30 equipment and was documented with it's original bill or sale from Brainbeau Olds. It sold for $110K.




This 67 442 was advertised as a numbers matching car that was documented with a window sticker from Legends in Scottsdale AZ. I got the impression from reading the write up on this car that the W-30 equipment was dealer installed. This car was featured in the December 1987 issue of Muscle Car Review. It was bid to $38K.




This 70 442 W-25 convertible was bid to $75K.



This 70 442 W-30 was a 4 speed car and it sold for $95K.



This 71 442 W-25 convertible was advertised as a numbers matching 4 speed car that was documented with a POP and it's bill of sale. It was bid to $87.5K.



This 71 442 W-30 convertible was a 4 speed car that was documented with a build sheet, POP and original dealer invoice from Royal Oldsmobile in Butler NJ. It was bid to $170K.

----That white/orange gut Z was the car I did. The original block may have been with it but it was totally unusable. I never had more problems with a restoration than that one. Guys that saw it at MCACN the one year will remember the paint being dull. I had to repaint it a second time, and didn't trust the original painter so had to pay twice. Lost a friend/customer over it too, which is probably more important than the money at the end of the day.....Bill S
