Default 69 Camaro Deluxe Interior Door Spring

Assembling my 69 Z10 with deluxe door panels. I can't remember where this spring goes, it was in the door parts bag. I am missing one for the other side. I am thinking it is something for the locks??? Any info or pictures would be a great help. Thanks.

Mike

My First Gut reaction is it is a Bucket Seat sliding Rail lever detent return, they were Yellow and appx this size.
Others might better ID.
but that is my First initial thoughts??

Well the Hook length looks to long for a Seat item,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks Jim. This spring is light weight compared to the seat springs and it has a cloth covering like the rod from the inside door handle to the latch. I would say it would be to keep a slight tension on some part?

It attaches to the door control & then there is a small hole. It's inside the door, not behind the door panel. I tried to look for a picture when I did my car but didn't have anything...Joe

Thanks Joe. I found a picture of the one original door, and when I zoomed in I could see the spring installed. Not sure why Chevy would have added that small spring when there is a large spring on the release handle.

The Camaro seat slider spring is painted bright yellow however it’s a thicker gauge and different dimensions than the deluxe interior door mechanism helper spring.

You can also see the cloth covering for the spring as well.
