Any part of this car that was modified by performance associates was saved. So when my buddy picked up the car, he received a number of boxes of original parts off the car. The car will be left as you see it, in race form as it was when it got parked in 67. It will be attending local car shows, and will be trailered to any events that it goes to. I believe it will be going to California for a judging event in the near future.

So does anybody have any ideas where or whom to contact to see if any race track pictures can be located?? Your help, hints, leads are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Amazing find, just amazing! Would love to see more pictures.
Darcy, if you manage to locate a source of vintage California race photos, I would be very interested to know about it. I have an ex-E/MP car that was a regular at Lion's (Los Angeles) from 69 to 72, and it competed at the final race meet there in December '72. Still hunting high and low for any period pictures from Lion's that might include my car.......

Have you watched the 3-part documentary about Lions? Highly recommended and I've loaned it to people that aren't even drag racing fans that loved it!

No, unfortunately I haven't. A friend in the US offered to send me the DVD, but we have a different region coding here, so it wouldn't work. That said, I think my new pc may be able to read any region code, so will look into it further - thanks!
(sorry if I hijacked this thread....)

I don't understand. Do DVDs spin the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere?
