Default Another Camaro reunited with its originl motor

Looks like this guy lucked out by finding what could possibly be the original motor to his car.
The engine was found on e-bay of all places...The engine is owned by an older guy who lives relatively close to the current location of the Z...Unfortunately there seems to be a glitch in one of Vin number locations. Great story with a happy ending

Great the guy pulled the trigger!.
Did I miss any notes of if his car has the original trans or not as it'd be interesting to compare it's stamp if it does.

Yes, now his 69 RS/Z has complete original drive train.
Look at the link in his signature for photos of his Z. He has photos of the original trans VIN Stamp and rear end...

It's not the original/born with block but close.

From Kurt at camaros.net - Having looked a lot of data (and stampings) over the years, I suspect it's not the original block. But it should be in your car!
