Hi. 37th & 45th week of 1992, 1982, or even 1972 maybe.
I believe four digit dates (last two of last two of year) started in 2000. They’re at least nearly thirty years old. Cheers. |

Correct.
Prior to 2000, three numbers were used for the DOT. Starting with the year 2000, four numbers are used for the Date of Manufacture. The first two numbers identify the week and the last two numbers identify the year of manufacture. The other numbers and letters in the sequence identify manufacturing plant/shift/tire construction specs/etc. Example......4201 would equate to 42 week of 2001. Nice find Charly. Paul |

They are Goodyear Wide Tread GT. Did Goodyear continue making them after they went to Polyglas ? Repo ?

No tread wear indicator and no safety warning.
