The C2 coupe door design is without a doubt the coolest.

It’s beautiful, streamlined and allows easier access to the cockpit.

I'll be the first to admit, I'm biased. I feel the mid year Corvette's are a front runner of the the best ever styling exercises. Coupe's in particular!

Occasionally, Lee would post airplane pics, so I'll add in some. I was honored to be part of the 68th reunion of the Doolittle Raiders in Dayton, OH in 2010 where three of the surviving eight raiders attended. What an amazing and humble group of gentlemen. The in-flight pic I took when we were enroute from Urbana, OH, (Staging area) to Wright Patterson AFB for the reunion.
