Default 1967 1968 Camaro 67 68 LH driver side CORE 4 piston caliper

Hi Gang,

As the title says and the many detailed pics below show - one core caliper available here.

LH Left Hand / driver side original GM caliper - Delco Moraine - this is the harder to find side...

5455530 inner half dated 229 and the outer 5455533 half dated 250 - certainly an original, never separated, pair.

Just the one caliper core, I'm told it's a recent take off.

165.00 shipped in the US via USPS priority with tracking.

Thanks all,
Anthony

Hi, how would this relate to a late 68z built car? I am not sure how to decipher those date numbers. - bob

LH & RH used same set of inners and outers.

No Year indicated Mold Number and Julian

FWIW My Dec 26th 1967 build (68Z) has Julian 254's on it.

Correct.

As to what makes a LH or RH (assembled) caliper it's where the line in and bleeder valve are drilled...

As to the day for these halves:

A casted date of 229 is:
1966 & 1967 - August 17
1968 (leap year) - August 16

A casted date of 250 is:
1966 & 1967 - September 7
1968 (leap year) - September 6

as the above example: Julian 254 in 1967 is September 11 FYI.
