Default B-29 "fifi"

Guy put eight GoPro cameras on the B-29 FIFI to document her flight from Ft Worth Meacham airport to her new home at the new Commemorative Air Force Headquarters at Dallas Executive Airport.

Perfect preflight con ops on display in the cockpit, and for an added bonus a P-51 as a fighter escort,

I love the clarity of progressive scan effect on video of people and most objects- but the propeller spin always looks very strange in all of these super hi resolution videos.

I toured the only other flying B29 "Doc" two years ago when I flew in the B25 "Berlin Express". Those B29's are something to behold and well worth the ride cost and "FiFi" is just as stunning. P51D "The Witch" was worth every penny as well.

Rick,

DOC looks to be in better shape than FIFI these days...

Doc is indeed a much fresher restoration. She was completed in 2016 compared to FiFi's 2010. As there are only 2 left in the world flying, I hope to fly in one or both in the coming year.

Bought my son and I a ride on FIFI back in 2014. He was up front with the flight engineer and I was in back. 45-minute flight and great fun. When the power came up for takeoff I must admit I got a lump in my throat.
