Re: Cleaning off tires on a Sunday afternoon
Can't. They both need a new battery and I'm broke. Plus they hate 48 degree weather. Makes my heart ache.

Re: Cleaning off tires on a Sunday afternoon
It was around 60 degrees here today. Did the pre-winter prep. I got all my cars out and fueled each one up and Stabil'd each tank. Three Firebirds (73 SD455, 75 455 Eprit, 2001 WS6) and one Lincoln.
My elderly neighbors liked my Grandfather's 1971 Lincoln Continental the best. (Its noise didn't scare their yorkies). |

Great weekend for that Steve. Used to clean up/get ready 1971 Lincoln's when I worked at Old Forge Lincoln Mercury back in 1971. Great cars!

Re: Cleaning off tires on a Sunday afternoon
My dad always had beat up "airport cars" that he would commute to JFK Arpt with, they got hammered quick and all the pilots would trade them on a regular basis and see who could keep their particular POS running the longest. He came home one day with a 66 Olds Delta 88. My brothers and I opened the hood and saw "425 Ultra High Compression" on the air cleaner. Immediately rolled it out of the driveway and melted the 1 rear tire right in front of the house. Spare went on and we got yelled at, next car was a 66 2+2 Catalina, even more fun. Those were the days...
