I bought the car in Independence, MO. I assume it was built at the old Leeds Plant which is a few miles from me. I don't know the original dealer as we were just punk teenagers and didn't really care about that stuff back then. There were several SS Chevelle's in that same area back then and I bought and parted out many more. One being a green 70 LS5, 4-spd., cowl induction, no rust, that I still have the build sheet, dealer invoice, & POP to. I remember the house and the garage well and will go back this week to see if the blown motor or the old owners are still there.
